Madhya Pradesh government to blend science and astrology for treating medical cases

Patients in Madhya Pradesh government hospitals will now be provided with astrologers in the OPD (outer-patients department). The astrologers will be from the government’s Maharshi Patanjali Sanskrit Sansthan( MPPS).

MPPS director PR Tiwari said that just like junior doctors assist senior doctors, junior and trainee astrologers will be assisting senior ones.

The astrologers will diagnose patients on the basis of their horoscopes and provide them solutions and treatments. The fee of astro-OPD will be ₹5 per patient. The MPPS also plans to introduce it in the 138 schools it runs.

Senior doctors in MP are in a state of disbelief as astrology has got nothing to with medical sciences and medics can not be expected to rely on astrological arithmetic. This will be astrology compliant allopathy.
