There are some moments in life that personify compassion so beautifully that you want to hold them as a cue on how to tread towards a better, a kinder world. One such instance unfolded in China, when a female cop breastfed a four-month old baby of an under-trial prisoner. The pictures surfaced on the internet and the world, as should have happened, were bowled over by the woman’s kind-hearted gesture. The incident was recorded in Central China at the Shanxi Jinzhong Intermediate People’s Court.
As per a report in Daily Mail, the infant started crying while his mother was in the trial. The suspect then allowed a policewoman, Hao Lina, to feed the baby.
Hao Lina, in an interaction with Daily Mail said, “I am a new mother, I could feel how anxious the child’s mother would have been. All I thought about was to try my best and comfort the tiny baby”.
The heartwarming captures of this wonderful moment has gone viral after being shared by a friend of the cop. The infant’s mother welled up after seeing this selfless show of affection, while she left the court premises.
