Jagga Jasoos trailer is filled with moments of thrill, adventure and a single dialogue

The short trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is out. The movie has been produced by Disney and directed by Anurag Basu.

The 2:45 trailer is very slow and unconventional. It shows a lot of exotic locations, forests, deserts, moving tanks, and the intrepid Jagga on a glider escaping bullet or riding ostriches in Africa. There is no dialogue in the whole trailer and we get to see only the visuals, the scenic beauty of the locations and the two lead characters who look refreshingly charming and enjoy a good on-screen chemistry.  

The trailer starts with many faces of bespectacled Ranbir on the screen, which depict different moods, and then we see him and Katrina Kaif across many spectacular locations, from riding a motorcycle, to an encounter with a snarling lion, to a bank robbery, to Katrina falling off when stepping from a railway compartment. In between, there are visuals of Ranbir inside what appears to be a military mess or a coordination centre of a secret agency.

The absence of dialogues, makes the trailer little boring and takes away a lot of excitement thrill from it, and gives no special aesthetic appeal.

The trailer looks like a mini version of a mute art film mixed with a typical Indian romantic movie and ‘ Around the World in 80 Days ‘

Jagga Jasoos will release on 14th July 2017.
