Everyone has heard about life saviors and magical powers, but a live example of that can be seen in the 50-year-old, Karimul Haque, who is also known as the ‘Bike-Ambulance Dada’. The man has taken an initiative to save as many lives as possible by operating a bike-ambulance.

The man, who is a tea estate worker from West Bengal, carries the sick to the nearby hospital through his bike-ambulance service. His bike has now become the only lifeline for 20 villages in and around Dhalabari.

His ambulance service also provides basic first aid with training from local doctors to villagers. Haque was awarded Padma Shri this year for his work.
