Princess Diana was a beauty with brains and a compassionate heart
Diana Spencer – or Princess Diana – as she was known after marrying Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and next-in-line to the British throne, was beautiful, charming, stylish, elegant and confident. She had a zest for life and her ebullience in public life never faded. Being born to an old aristocratic family and married into the royal family, she still loved to be amongst the people.
She followed her heart and won many admirers and fans with her infectious smile. Princess Diana was a highly popular public figure worldwide and her tragic death in a car crash in Paris in 1997 lead to a huge outpouring of grief. She died at the age of 36. She was interested in a lot of charitable causes and in making the world a better place for all.
