Sheldon Cooper of Big Bang Theory Jim Parsons takes the plunge, married to boyfriend Tod Spiewak

Jim Parsons, the popular sitcom Big Bang Theory star, has married his long-term boyfriend Tod Spiewak in a private ceremony at New York’s Rainbow Room hotel.

44-year-old Parson’s plays the role of the affable geek Sheldon Cooper in Big Bang Theory. He is one of the highest-paid TV stars in the USA. As per the Forbes magazine he took home 25.5 million dollars last year.

He has been in a relationship with Spiewak since 14 years. Parsons revealed for the first time in 2012, in an interview with New York Times, that he is a homosexual.

Parsons posted a pic of himself with Spiewak on Instagram yesterday and described meeting him as “the best thing that ever happened to me”
