Today is the big day for all cricket enthusiasts and what will add to the feverish excitement more is that today’s ICC Champions Trophy final match will be between India and Pakistan. This is enough to get fans glued to their TV screens, at homes or in sports bars. India has won the ICC Champions Trophy 2 times previously, while Pakistan has never won it till yet.
As per an India Today report, players of both teams had to face discomfort yesterday night around 8 PM as air-conditioners of their hotel rooms were not functioning due to some fault. The temperature of London was 29° C yesterday with very high humidity.
And after net practice, the players decided to sleep early, but to their discomfiture, ACs weren’t working and it took around 1 hours 45 minutes before the technical problem was resolved, ACs started functioning and the players could finally rest.
The last time India and Pakistan faced each other in ICC finals was in 2007.
