With An Upcoming Meghna Gulzar Flick, A Netflix Release And More, Vicky Kaushal Is Ready To Be The Next Big Thing In Bollywood

Some three years ago, a not so regular commercial movie went on floors which was also a debut movie for a newcomer. A lean tall body and an innocent face hiding layers of feelings and intricate expressions. The remaining actors of the brilliant cast were mostly accomplished ones, but this newcomer stood out with his distinct acting talent and was capable of wrenching the hardest emotions out of hearts.

Usually, these common faces come and go but this one got noticed and gradually carved his way through the crowd of this industry that more than often worships the unworthy and kicks out the most deserving at the drop of a hat. But this face was spotted and claimed the appreciation of the experts and the ones able to scratch out the diamond from under the pile of coal.

Vicky Kaushal whose fame could have easily lost beneath the layers of films done by the blazing stars,  created his own niche with his consistent performance and hard work over these three years. Spotted by similarly talented personalities who know best to spot the unique talent, Vicky is all set to make it big this year in the tinsel town.

He has recently grabbed some important projects that are set to release soon in future. The one which has left us all the most excited is the film Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar and starring Alia Bhatt along. Just a few days back, the first still of the film was launched having the duo looking into each other’s eyes with shy romance.

Raazi is a period movie based on the book Calling Sehmat by Harinder Sikka. It is set to release on May 11 and a major part of the film has been shot in the beautiful valleys of Kashmir. While the cast is much like a dream team, the story looks promising too. Apart from this, he has an upcoming Netflix film Love Per Square Foot set to release on this Valentine’s Day. The movie also stars Angira Dhar in the lead role, a girl with cute dimples and hazel eyes who has also made a place for herself in the field of Indian web series.

Apart from these two ventures, Vicky is also going to star in Manmarziyan a project in collaboration between Anurag Basu and Anand L Rai. The film also stars Tapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan in the main roles. Vicky is not stoppable at only this, he will be seen in other prominent roles in movies Sanju and Bombay Talkies 2 Directed respectively by Rajkumar Hirani and Karan Johar featuring stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Manisha Koirala.

This year is certainly going to be a career-defining one for Vicky. While these projects are yet to garner the feedback of public, we can vouch for his acting talent and dedication towards his work. These projects are proof that he is here to stay and prove his mettle with his caliber. It has been refreshing to watch him onscreen in the selected flicks, and we only wish the best of luck to him and pray that he keeps shining and succeeding in Bollywood in the times to come.
