Lamborghini has finally launched it’s much-hyped super SUV Urus in India at an ex-showroom price of 3 crores. Touted to be the fastest sports vehicle in the world, the SSUV is capable to do 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds and can go to a top speed of 305kmph.
Lamborghini has built its first turbocharged 4-liter petrol engine to power the SSUV. The twin-turbo V8 develops 650PS of maximum power and 850Nm of torque which is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and a permanent all-wheel drive (AWD) system.
Being the first practical car coming out of the stable of Lamborghini, it can seat four 6-feet tall passengers comfortably and comes with a massive boot space of 616-litre. Inside the cabin, the car looks like a cockpit of a fighter plane with three touch screens for different control systems including instrument screen, central console, and air-conditioning system. Interior of Lamborghini Urus is full of luxury leather and carbon fiber.
For now, Lamborghini has allocated just 25 Urus for the Indian market at an asking price of 3 crores.
The car comes with unique features like 48V adaptive damping system and rear-wheel steering which can turn by three degrees (based on the speed) to have better on-road/track handling capabilities. It also comes with its completely overhauled new ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligence Management) drive mode selector which is capable of instantly turning the car into the best vehicle for maneuvering off-road, snowy or sand dune terrains with supreme ease.
